Getting to know the PAVS Trustees… Helen McLeod-Baikie

This week we are hearing from our Trustee Helen McLeod-Baikie. Helen is a Chartered Surveyor, with a special interest in property. To celebrate the incredible work that our Trustees here at PAVS do for us, and our community in Pembrokeshire, we asked Helen a few questions…

Helen,

Tell us your favourite thing about being a Trustee for PAVS
My favourite thing is being able to learn new skills and meet new interesting people.

We recognise that being a trustee is a great responsibility…tell us one of your worries.

Funding for services and communities, I would like to see improved working between private, public and community to deliver services to the residents and businesses of Pembrokeshire in an innovative, efficient and effective manner whilst providing financial savings for all and an improved service.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to follow in my late father’s footsteps and be a Chartered Surveyor like him, I am pleased to say that this was achieved in 2003 and the best day was going to London headquarters to collect my RICS certificate with my parents.

What one word sums up PAVS for you?

Support

Thanks Helen! A big thank you to each of our Trustees at PAVS. You are all so valued and your work is greatly appreciated by the whole team at PAVS, and by our community here in Pembrokeshire.
