Bluestone Foundation Community Fund
Now open for applications!
The Bluestone Foundation Community Fund offers funding of £500 – £2500 to;
- Environmental projects that address issues around two key factors: Reducing Carbon Footprint and/or Enhancing Biodiversity
- Social projects which address the effects of deprivation and poverty, with particular emphasis on youth
Funding requests will be considered from not-for-profit organisation, a community or voluntary group, or social enterprises that relate to the direct delivery of a specific project or activity. Costs associated with the day-to-day running of your Organisation are not eligible. This includes staffing costs not specifically related to a project, property rental and utility costs, as well as general office equipment.
Organisations showing that they are prepared to help themselves are prioritised, with groups needing to explain this in the application form. Applications showing good evidence of need and a fit with the fund aims alongside added value and sustainability will be prioritised.
2025 Deadlines
Bluestone Foundation Community Events
Beginning in 2024 the Blue Lagoon Water Park will be open to the local community as part of a series of evening events raising funds for charities, non-profit organisations and constituted groups in Pembrokeshire.
Each event will be hosted by a local charitable organisation and local residents will be able to buy tickets. All of the proceeds will be directed into the community; 75 % of funds through the local charity and 25% through the Bluestone Foundation. Each event will mean up to 600 members of the local community can enjoy the water park facilities while raising money directly for local good causes.
Any constituted non-profit distributing organisation based in Pembrokeshire interested in participating in future events can apply to become the host and recipient of funds. Further details of the process to submit an Expression of Interest will be published here when the next round opens.
