Meet the Team – Steffan Lemke-Elms

In the next of our ‘Meet the Team’ sessions, we’ve been chatting to Steffan Lemke-Elms.

What’s a day in the life of a Social Enterprise Development Officer like?
I love my work as I get to visit the incredible organisations around Pembrokeshire that all want to make the world a better place. You can also find me in my home office meeting with statutory partners online as well as supporting new organisation set up to achieve their dream of helping their community.

Where is your favourite place in Pembrokeshire to visit?
Barafundle Bay, Stackpole and Bosherston …..cannot beat those views!

Is there a community group in Pembrokeshire that you’re excited about right now?
There is a new organisation called Potential to Succeed CIC in Narberth– they have acquired some land and are turning it into an accessible community garden – designed for people with additional needs and to offer training and development for many different cohorts in Pembrokeshire. They even have plans for a bee hive therapy room!

Do you have any hobbies or interests?
My favourite hobby is foraging for food and medicine – it’s amazing what’s around us when you look. Like seeing the wood through the trees or in fact the food through the weeds.

What is the best thing about your job?
Helping people help people.

Fun fact about you?
I can juggle fire
