We’re here to help, but need some help from you!
As many of you will know, PAVS provides support, guidance and advice to anyone involved in charitable, voluntary or social enterprise organisations and activity across Pembrokeshire.
Our work is varied, from managing grant funded projects with specific aims such as the Keep Warm Keep Well programme, to delivery of collaborative activities such as Pembrokeshire Community Hub, which offers a single point of contact for anyone who needs a bit of help but does not know where to start – “solutions not services”. We offer support to people wishing to start up or develop a social enterprise, and support families, communities, and businesses to become Dementia Friendly. We also work with public and private sector partners, providing a voice for the sector in Pembrokeshire at a regional and national level, making sure that decision makers in local authorities and Welsh Government are informed about the challenges and opportunities in our local communities.

PAVS is a membership organisation, and our members have a key role to play in helping us be that voice locally, regionally and nationally. In many cases, our members also help us deliver projects and activities across the county that have a direct benefit for people living in Pembrokeshire. We want to make sure we continue working well for and with our members, and this is where we need some help from you!
We want to ensure that what we offer to our members is relevant, useful and valuable! We have been doing a lot of work in recent months looking at what is included (or not!) in our membership package. We think we have almost got it right, but before we launch a new membership offer, we’d like to hear from organisations across the county what they think!
It doesn’t matter if you are currently a member of PAVS or not, we would like to hear from as many groups and organisations as possible. Our Business Operations Manager, Maudie Hughes will be heading out and about around the county in May (14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 22nd and 23rd) and would very much like to come and meet with you and your teams to get your views and ideas on what membership with PAVS should offer.
