Send a Volunteer Valentine!
January 25th saw Wales mark St Dwynwen’s Day, the Welsh patron saint for lovers and companions, and of course in February, St Valentine comes along too!
This year, we’d like to help you say ‘Thank You’ to that special person who, through their voluntary work, makes a big difference to you. Maybe you’re a regular at a Warm Room, and there is a particular person there who goes that extra mile for you. Perhaps you’re the parent of a child who attends a regular activity run by a volunteer, or you’ve had regular help from someone driving you to and from appointments you can’t get to easily.
Whoever the person is, why not use this opportunity to say a special thank you, with a #VolunteerValentine. It’s completely free, and if you so wish can be completely anonymous too! You’ve got all of January and February to send in your nominations, and there is no limit on how many you send either!
