The Support Communities Development Officer works across Pembrokeshire, facilitating existing networks and activities, whilst working with other groups to establish new opportunities to support people living with dementia, older people, their carers and their families.

Job Title:               Supportive Communities Development Officer

Hours:                   37 hours per week to include evening and weekend work (as required)

                             (Initially until 31st March 2026 with a view to extending until 31st March 2027 as this post is grant funded)

Responsible to:      PAVS Strengthening Communities Programme Manager

Location:              36/38 High Street, Haverfordwest + option for hybrid working

Salary:                   £29,161 per annum

Annual Leave:       25 days per annum + 8 days public bank holidays

Aim of the post

To work across Pembrokeshire with local people, communities and organisations to develop and support the network of Dementia Supportive and Age Friendly Communities and activities, which provide local support enabling people living with dementia, older people, their carers & families to have the best quality of life possible.
