Making a bigger difference together… PAVS & WCVA

In Cardiff last week, our PAVS CEO Jess Bickerton met with inspiring Lindsay Cordery-Bruce, CEO at WCVA, at a networking event to look ahead to 2025/26. WCVA is consulting on its membership proposition, and wanted to understand how it can best support third sector organisations, and campaign on issues through our collective voice.  It was also an opportunity to discuss WCVA‘s ideas on a manifesto for the third sector to inform and influence prospective political candidates ahead of the Senedd elections in 2026.

Jess described: “there is immense value in coming together with third sector leaders to network, think strategically and to collaborate.  Our membership of WCVA enables us to access expertise and advice, training and funding resources, as well as to amplify our voice on campaigns.  As we look ahead to the Senedd elections, let’s hope that the political parties will draw on the perspectives of third sector organisations to understand the vital role we play – through volunteers, in communities, and working in partnership with public and private sector partners – in making a difference in people’s lives.”

Here at PAVS, we are passionate to pave the way in Pembrokeshire, striving for third sector excellence in all we do.

As a membership organisation, we represent the interests of the third sector in Pembrokeshire to champion, to communicate, and to challenge.  PAVS members can access support, such as training, governance advice, funding, plus opportunities to network and collaborate, as well as to nominate and elect our Trustees at our Annual General Meeting.

We are proud to be announcing something very exciting for our members in the coming weeks…stay tuned…
