Dod yn aelod o PAVS

Beth mae'n ei olygu?

PAVS is a membership organisation. We are the voice of the third sector, promoting and supporting voluntary and community action across Pembrokeshire. The more we work together, the stronger we all become.

As a member, you will

Stay Informed – Receive regular news including the latest funding opportunities, training and events.  Access support on governance, funding and volunteering.

Connect & collaborate – Receive invitations to key events, including PAVS’s Annual General Meeting and local networking sessions on funding and more. Meet people doing similar work locally, across Pembrokeshire, Wales, and beyond.

Have your say – Share your views on issues that matter to your community. We’ll make sure your voice is heard by key partners such as Pembrokeshire County Council, Hywel Dda University Health Board, the Public Services Board and nationally through the Wales Council for Voluntary Action, Welsh Government, and UK Government

Membership is open to all Voluntary, Community and Third Sector organisations based in or serving Pembrokeshire. Our members are able to nominate and elect our Trustees each year at our Annual General Meeting.

How do we join?

The membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December. If your organisation would like to become a member, please complete the application form below and email a signed copy of your organisation’s constitution to development@pavs.org.uk Membership of PAVS is free!

We currently have two types of membership available – Full Membership a Associate Membership.

Full Membership is open to charitable, voluntary and social enterprise organisations who are based in and run from premises in Pembrokeshire, with the committee or management group also operating within the county e.g. The Paul Sartori Foundation. Full members are able to nominate candidates to stand as Trustees on the PAVS Board, and vote at the Annual General Meeting.

Associate Membership is open to charitable, voluntary and social enterprise organisations who have a ‘parent’ body located outside of Pembrokeshire, but have a local committee or management group delivering services and activities within Pembrokeshire e.g. Age Cymru – Dyfed

Your membership is important to us. A strong membership base gives us the mandate to continue to represent and support the third sector in Pembrokeshire, providing a range of locally accessible development, funding and volunteering services that are free of charge or discounted at the point of delivery. All third sector organisations can become members of PAVS for free – a small donation to help cover our running costs would be appreciated!

Our staff work in a hybrid way which means they may not be in the office, but working from other venues or home working. Due to changes in the way we work, we are not running training events in person from our premises. However, if you wish to meet with a member of staff then please email them directly or call their business mobile number. The staff contact list is kept up to date with the most recent information.

If you do need to call at our premises, we are open from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am to 4.30pm on a Friday (except on Bank Holidays). On some occasions you may need to ring the bell (situated on the right hand side of the door). If you are just delivering mail, then please use the letter box on the front door.
