Meet the Trustee – Barbara Priest
Today’s #TrusteesWeek chat is with Barbara Priest who has been very busy recently organising a fireworks event.
What’s a day in the life of a PAVS Trustee like?
My role is as a Trustee of PAVS. I receive papers detailing the activities and finances of the charity. Trustees are responsible for ensuring that the charity delivers its support to Pembrokeshire, encouraging volunteering and much more.
Where is your favourite place in Pembrokeshire to visit?
Amroth, I love the beach.
Are you involved with any other community groups or organisations in Pembrokeshire?
I am also a Community Councillor for Templeton and am involved with the community association. I am also treasurer of Mid Pembrokeshire Wildlife Trust.
Do you have any hobbies or interests?
I am a keen birdwatcher.
What is the best thing about being a Trustee?
The feeling of giving back something worthwhile to the community.
Fun fact about you?
I love the gym, I can’t stop exercising.
