This week we chat with Sue James-Davies, the longest serving member of the PAVS team!
What’s a day in the life of the Business Services Manager like?
Well, it is never dull and boring! Very varied! As HR Officer, my work involves supporting PAVS recruitment processes and the staff we employ and as premises manager I look after our lovely old offices and the Health & Safety issues that have to be covered. I work alongside our Trustee Board as Governance Officer ensuring legal obligations are adhered to and the role is topped off with a sprinkling of Information Technology ensuring our infrastructure stays in place!
What is your favourite place in Pembrokeshire to visit?
Most places along the North Pembrokeshire coastline
Is there a community group or organisation in Pembrokeshire that you’re excited about right now?
I rarely get out to mix with groups as my work is mainly inward facing and I get excited about PAVS!
Do you have any hobbies or interests?
Lots of interest in my garden, cooking, entertaining friends, sewing and reading but mainly my dog.
What is the best thing about your job?
I have been doing my job for 21 years and still it comes up with surprises!

I have been up on the roof of our building!
