What’s a day in the life of a Dementia Supportive Communities Development Officer like?
I work with individuals and communities to ensure that people living with dementia, their family and carers are able live their lives to the full, part of their own community where they feel safe, valued, respected, and treated with dignity.
What is your favourite place in Pembrokeshire to visit?
Tenby in the winter
Is there a group or organisation in Pembrokeshire that you’re excited about working with right now?
Ty Hapus – Young Onset Dementia
Do you have any hobbies or interests?
I enjoy spending time on our dairy farm, looking after the calves and trying to train our sheepdog.
What is the best thing about your job?
Seeing people living with dementia and their loved ones happy, laughing and enjoying life.
