Job Title: Beautician – Specialist in Nail Treatments
Purpose of the Role:
To deliver high-quality beauty and nail care treatments that promote relaxation, confidence, and wellbeing for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a range of nail treatments, including manicures, pedicures, nail shaping, cuticle care, and polish application.
- Offer specialist nail services such as gel or acrylic applications (as trained and appropriate).Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and infection control, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitised.
- Manage treatment areas and stock levels, reporting any supply or maintenance needs.
- Support the delivery of community wellbeing programmes by contributing to workshops, taster sessions, or group events if
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Recognised qualification in Beauty Therapy (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in nail treatments (manicure, pedicure, nail art, or extensions).
- Sound understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards in a salon or wellbeing setting.
- Excellent customer care and communication skills.
- Ability to work with a diverse range of clients with sensitivity and professionalism.
