We all know that finding ways to raise money can be a challenge, and with so many options for organisations and individuals to choose from, knowing where to start can be tricky. There are many different platforms available, some free and others that charge a fee – this round up from Charity Digital <\/a>gives an overview of some of them and compares the various features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here at PAVS we are currently giving a free option a try. Did you know that whenever you buy anything online \u2013 from your weekly shop to your annual holiday \u2013 you could be raising free donations for us with easyfundraising? There are over 8,000 retailers on board ready to make a donation \u2013 including eBay, Argos, John Lewis & Partners, ASOS, Booking.com and M&S \u2013 and it won\u2019t cost you a penny extra to help us raise funds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All you need to do is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Go to https:\/\/www.easyfundraising.org.uk\/causes\/pembrokeshire-association-of-voluntary-services\/<\/a> and join for free. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first to find the site you want and start shopping. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. After you\u2019ve checked out, the retailer will make a donation to us at no extra cost to you whatsoever! There are no catches or hidden charges and we will be really grateful for your donations. Everything raised through this helps fund our service delivery – from the friendly team in the Volunteer Centre to the wealth of knowledge and experience in the Third Sector Team!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It doesn’t end there though! If you are a charitable organisation you could be using this to raise funds for you too! Then all you need to do is spread the word with your supporters and encourage them to follow the steps above for you, and they can be raising money for you from the comfort of the sofa whilst shopping online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
