WCVA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In Cardiff last week, our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pavs.org.uk\/cy\/meet-the-team-jessica-bickerton-ceo\/\">PAVS CEO Jess Bickerton<\/a> met with inspiring Lindsay Cordery-Bruce, CEO at <a href=\"https:\/\/wcva.cymru\/\">WCVA<\/a>, at a networking event to look ahead to 2025\/26.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wcva.cymru\/\">WCVA<\/a> is consulting on its membership proposition, and wanted to understand how it can best support third sector organisations, and campaign on issues through our collective voice.\u00a0 It was also an opportunity to discuss <a href=\"https:\/\/wcva.cymru\/\">WCVA<\/a>&#8216;s ideas on a manifesto for the third sector to inform and influence prospective political candidates ahead of the Senedd elections in 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jess described: \u201c<em>there is immense value in coming together with third sector leaders to network, think strategically and to collaborate.\u00a0 Our membership of WCVA enables us to access expertise and advice, training and funding resources, as well as to amplify our voice on campaigns.\u00a0 As we look ahead to the Senedd elections, let&#8217;s hope that the political parties will draw on the perspectives of third sector organisations to understand the vital role we play &#8211;
