Keep Warm Keep Well is once again supporting people across Pembrokeshire with the cost of living this winter.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campaign is being led by the Pembrokeshire Community Hub in partnership with Pembrokeshire County Council, Pembrokeshire Association of Voluntary Services (PAVS) and a variety of agencies including Hywel Dda Health Board, Emergency Services and the Voluntary Sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cost of living crisis affects everyone and it is a worrying and uncertain time for so many people. Therefore, work is taking place to connect people to local information, support and services over the coldest months of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Across Pembrokeshire we are once again seeing communities and organisations doing a fantastic job offering a range of local solutions from hot meals, community activities, plus energy, money and debt advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welcome Warm spaces offer welcoming places where people can meet with others in their local community and take part in a range of activities. For a map of warm spaces visit www.pembrokeshirecommunityhub.org.uk<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you or people you know are experiencing financial hardship or would like information about what support is available in your area, you can get in contact with the Pembrokeshire Community Hub. They can talk to you about your situation and put you in touch with the right community group or service \u2013 as there is a lot of help available both in Pembrokeshire and across Wales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sophie Buckley, Keep Warm, Keep Well programme lead at PAVS said:<\/strong> \u201cAnyone who is worried about how they are going to afford to pay their bills this winter, stay warm or purchase the essentials, can contact my colleagues in the Pembrokeshire Community Hub. You will receive a warm welcome from a really friendly team who can have a chat with you about the support that is available. The Hub has an easy \u2018one call that\u2019s all\u2019 approach, call 01437 723660, or you can email enquiries@pembrokeshirecommunityhub.org\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cllr Tessa Hodgson, C<\/strong>abinet Member for Social Service<\/strong> at Pembrokeshire County Council said:  <\/strong>\u201cWe\u2019re working with our local partners, building on the great work last winter, to support a network of Warm Welcome Community Spaces where people are coming together, enjoying some company, getting involved in local activities, and in some places having a hot meal together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019d encourage everyone to get in touch with the Community Hub to find out more about the support available from a wide range of organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTogether we will make a positive difference to our local communities and help residents with the cost of living.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through funding made available by Pembrokeshire County Council, the Keep Warm Keep Well programme is supporting organisations offering information and advice, help with fuel costs, supporting demands on food banks, community meals, pet food banks, emergency keep warm packs, essential items for families and support for individuals who are experiencing data poverty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
