Meet Lee Pavs<\/a> Manager of Hwb Cymunedol Sir Benfro – Pembrokeshire Community Hub<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s a day in the life of a Community Hub Manager like?<\/strong>
I manage all aspects of Pembrokeshire Community Hub, dealing with calls, fielding enquiries from colleagues and professionals and supporting the team. I also attend meetings with funders and colleagues to determine our strategic direction as a Hub. We have been supporting our Ukrainian guests with wellbeing, social activities and accessing services. I also deliver safeguarding training for the 3rd sector and others, in Pembrokeshire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favourite place in Pembrokeshire to visit?<\/strong>
My favourite place in Pembs is a bit of an odd one, but I absolutely love the view heading into Newgale from Haverfordwest \u2013 there\u2019s a layby on the left as you go down the hill and I love to sit there and just look at the view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is there a community group or organisation in Pembrokeshire that you\u2019re excited about right now?<\/strong>
There are so many amazing projects and groups doing wonderful things in Pembrokeshire and the power of voluntary action is clear for all to see. Two groups I must mention though are the Queens Hall Narberth<\/a> and Pembrokeshire Sibling Group<\/a> \u2013 two very different charities but both doing fantastic work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you have any hobbies or interests?<\/strong>
I love spending time with family and friends, and I like to play pool and watch football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the best thing about your job?<\/strong>
It\u2019s so different every day! No chance of getting bored here!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
