National Volunteers' Week is a nationwide celebration of volunteers and volunteering which takes place from 1st – 7th June of each year.
Volunteers' Week plays a huge part in raising the profile of the millions of volunteers who regularly contribute to the community, while inspiring others to get involved too.
PAVS Volunteering Pembrokeshire is holding their National Volunteers Week celebration event on June 3rd 2015 at Letterston Memorial Hall to recognise and give thanks to volunteers giving their time and commitment within their communities in Pembrokeshire. Over 150 people usually attended this very vibrant event with over 20 voluntary organisations promoting various volunteering opportunities attracting many new volunteers.

The PAVS Pembrokeshire Volunteering Awards is also taking place at the event in the afternoon, giving recognition in 6 categories – Trustee, Individual Over 25, Individual Under 25, Group Over 25, Group Under 25 and the Mary Sigley Award where volunteering has changed the life of a person.
