Shelter Cymru – Information Matters Project Promoter
Shelter Cymru is working to help people in rural communities who are experiencing housing and financial difficulties, poverty and rural isolation in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.
The Big Lottery Fund has funded the Information matters to rural communities project for 3 years and aims to help rural communities become more resourceful and sustainable by providing free practical bilingual information packs on housing, debt, welfare benefits and rural well being.

Your help is needed to promote and publicise the packs within your community by:
- Distributing flyers and information packs
- Contacting groups and organisations by letter, e-mail or telephone
- Talking to groups and organisations informally about the project
- Giving presentations about the project
Anyone can get involved and the amount of time you want to spend is your choice - we’re flexible! Expenses will be paid.
By becoming involved you will:
- Gain new skills and receive full training
- Learn more about Shelter Cymru
- Have the opportunity to attend Shelter Cymru events
Don’t let your community miss out!
If you are interested in getting involved please contact Michelle Rosser on 01267 225938 or e-mail ruralinfo@sheltercymru.org.uk.
