The Training Advisory Group (TAG) has been operating in Pembrokeshire since April 2000. It developed from the shared realisation of the need for appropriate provision of training to enable the sector to strengthen its capacity and further develop its potential. The group has met regularly to develop an effective and cohesive strategy to meet the sector's training needs, with initial and ongoing participatory studies undertaken to understand the needs and priorities of the sector.

TAG has representation from a wide range of voluntary groups with an interest in training, alongside training organisations such as Pembrokeshire College and Pembrokeshire County Council Training Department.
