Proving
the quality of what we do in the voluntary and community sector
is becoming increasingly important. The implementation of a quality
system within an organisation can improve efficiency, increase effectiveness,
drive change and growth, and demonstrate to the outside world (including
funders) that you provide a valuable - and valued - service.
There
are a number of different ways to ensure quality but where do you
start? This one-day event focuses on two quality systems that have
been specifically designed for the third sector, as well as quality
assurance in learning, and participatory evaluation methods in action.
The
Learning in the Voluntary Sector project managed
by PAVS comes to an end on 31 st October. This event gives us a
chance to celebrate the achievements of our learners - and find
out what you think about what we have done, and what we should do
in the future.
Other
activities during the day will include presentations of Learner
Certificates and Learning Champion awards, FREE
Learning Toolkits, and the launch of the Pembrokeshire 3rd Sector
Learning Network (P3LN). Lunch is provided - plus a piece of celebratory
cake!

organisations to review their volunteer management, and also
publicly demonstrates their commitment to volunteering. Leah
Doherty from WCVA, who lead on IIV in Wales , will facilitate
a short workshop introducing the key elements of the programme
and explaining how you can get started |
