Finding
funding often seems like a complex task with many different statutory
and non- statutory grant giving bodies working at a European, National,

The Spotlight on Funders gives a flavour of the variety of funders
for the voluntary sector with a focus on local funders, lottery funds,
and other funders; which includes some of the grant-making trusts.
It can often be difficult to pin-point funders that will support your
specific work or projects but it is important to do your research
at this initial stage to make sure that you are not spending time
on applications to schemes that do not support your work. If you need
help with identifying funders then go to the Funding
Advice section for more information on help that is available
through PAVS.

This information should be used as a starting point. You should always
try to contact the appropriate trust for more information before you
make an application, the majority of funders welcome this sort of
approach which will help you to decide whether it is worth your while
making an application and give you any general advice about the types
of costs that they will support. |
