PAVS provides a range of information, guidance, and practical help
to voluntary and community groups seeking funding for projects including:-
Help to Identify Funders
Once you know how much you are looking for, and for what purpose,
PAVS can support you to find a range of potential funding opportunities
through:
- Access to “Grantfinder”computer programme which
identifies appropriate Trust, Lottery, Government and European
sources of funding
- Access to "GRANTnet" suspended from June 15th '09. PAVS is currently exploring options to make this available as part of a members package. More information here...
- Funding publications – The Directory of Grant Making Trusts,
Funding for Arts Projects and the Welsh Funding Guide
- Access to information & guidelines for top grant giving
bodies
- Access to information sheets on finding
the right funder and applying
for funds
- Support to develop
a fundraising strategy
- Arranging funding events and workshops
- Annual PAVS Funding Fair

Support with Making Applications
Once funders have been identified and researched PAVS can support
you with the application processes and / or support you to develop
the skills to make successful funding applications in the following
ways:
- Information sheets on
Finding and Getting Money
- Guidance sessions on filling in application forms
- Objective and constructive feedback on draft applications
- Information on other sources of support and guidance
- Training and group support sessions
- Putting groups in touch with others who have been successful
PAVS facilitates opportunities for groups to meet face to face with
funders at funding events and ‘surgery’ sessions with
