Changes to PAVS' Trustee Board
At the AGM on 19th January 2010, the Board approved the reduction in size of PAVS' Board 15 to 10 members. The Board believes strongly that this is a sufficient number of trustees to provide accountability, scrutiny and constructive challenge, without being top heavy.
Seven trustees nomionated from PAVS' membership were elected at the AGM as usual. Work has now commenced on recruitment for the three additional key posts of Chair, Vice Chair and Trustee with Special Responsibility (TSR) for Finance who will be appointed by the Board. with applications invited from elected Trustees, members of PAVS or other persons with appropriate experience who live in Pembrokeshire. Appointing these key positions from such a wide pool will enable PAVS to select the best person for each post based on a demonstrable track record of relevant skills, experience and knowledge.
Please visit the Job Vacancies page for full details of the roles being recruited to.

As a registered charity and company limited by guarantee, PAVS has a Board of Trustees, elected by the membership, that governs its work.
Some core funding is provided by the National Assembly for Wales, administered by Wales Council for Voluntary Action, and a further amount is awarded by Pembrokeshire County Council.
More than 80% of funding is project-based, secured through open bidding opportunities.
